Instead, Chinese girls prepare fruits, melons and incense\uff08\u718f\u9999\uff09 as offerings to Zhi Nu, the weaving maiden, praying to acquire high skills in needlecraft\uff08\u88c1\u7f1d\uff09, as well as hoping to find satisfactory husbands.<br \/>\nIn the evening, people sit outdoors to observe the stars.
